Cerise is a company with technical expertise, which is unfortunately not matched by their customer relations. I am a long-standing client, now ex-client, and I would not recommend this company to any prospective customer. At every level, from the Director General down, the communication I have had with Cerise has been abysmal, both in tone and content. As a result, a problem so simple that it could and should have been resolved in a few minutes, caused a complete collapse in my relationship with the company. The background is as follows. Cerise installed my geothermic heating system in 2007, and I have had a maintenance contract with them for many years. In March my heat pump developed a fault. Under the maintenance contract a technician came and repaired the heat pump. Later the same day it was obvious that the hot water produced by the heat pump was not working, which it had been previously. A range of factors indicated a minor error by the Cerise technician, a suggestion that was totally rejected by three different people within the after-sales department, including their manager. Despite the fact that their technician had been on-site the previous day and hadn’t checked that the hot water was working, Cerise insisted that any further intervention would involve a call-out charge of 121€ and a minimum labour charge of 73€. I refused to pay this charge. At a later point, I asked a different firm to check the heat pump – they confirmed that the problem with the hot water was due to the fact that an RCB inside the heat pump had been left switched off. It took them less than two minutes to find and rectify the fault. No serious attempt was ever made by the after-sales team, or the Director General, to find an amicable solution to the problem. On the contrary, the company defended its “protocols” to the point of absurdity, and repeatedly tried to present and frame my objections as those of an unreasonably demanding client who was seeking special treatment. Sadly, the company’s attitude throughout this episode has been defensive and arrogant, and my overall conclusion is that the problems I have encountered are a reflection of the culture within the company, from the top down. I can see from other negative reviews that Cerise normally responds forcefully to any public criticism. Anticipating such a reaction, I would say only this: a much more effective business strategy in a very competitive industry would be to spend less time answering criticisms and more time developing a modern and responsive approach to your client relations.

Déjà, lors de ce premier contact, le sérieux de l'entreprise nous a mis en confiance. La pose de nos 12 panneaux a été réalisée par des ouvriers très compétents et sans aucun dommage à la toiture La pose de l'onduleur réalisée à la suite à été effectuée de la même manière, parfaite. De plus, ces personnes ont toujours travaillés extrêmement proprement, c'est à souligner. Les gens de cette entreprise sont de vrais professionnels, sérieux et appliqués que nous pouvons recommander pour un travail de qualité.
